FILTER(DPF)

A filter removes contaminants from a fluid or from intake air to protect the engine and its systems.

As fluid or air passes through, a porous element traps dirt, soot, water, or metal particles to keep the system clean; a clogged filter restricts flow and is replaced on schedule.

Filters serve the oil, fuel, air-intake, and hydraulic systems. The correct filter matches the system and its flow and filtration rating.
