BUSH-STABILIZER

A stabilizer bar (anti-roll bar) is a spring-steel bar that links the suspension on both sides of an axle to reduce body roll.

When the vehicle leans in a corner, the bar twists and resists the difference between the two sides, keeping the body flatter and the handling more stable.

Stabilizer bars are fitted across the front or rear axle with links and bushings. Because they affect stability, worn links or bushings should be checked by a qualified technician.
