Input shaft

A shaft is a rotating rod that transmits power and motion between components.

It carries torque from one part to another and supports gears, bearings, or other parts mounted along it, turning within bearings that locate it.

Shafts are central to the gearbox, drivetrain, and many pumps and drives. The correct shaft matches the assembly, its bearings, and the parts it carries.
