DIRECTION LAMP

A lamp is a lighting unit that produces light for visibility and signalling on a commercial vehicle.

Current through a bulb or LED element produces light, while a housing, lens, and reflector aim and shape the beam for headlights, tail lights, indicators, or work lights.

Lamps are fitted around the cab, body, and trailer. Because lighting is safety related, faulty lamps should be repaired promptly and the correct type and rating used.
