SCREW CONNECTOR

A connector is a part that joins two or more electrical wires or cables to pass current or signals between them.

It holds the conductors in firm contact for a low-resistance connection and lets a circuit be separated for service; types include screw, crimp, and push-in connectors.

Connectors are used throughout a commercial vehicle's electrical and lighting circuits. Because a poor connection can disable safety-related systems, electrical work is best checked by a qualified technician.
