PROPELLER SHAFT FIXED

A propeller shaft (drive shaft) is the rotating shaft that transmits drive from the gearbox to the axle.

It carries torque along the chassis and, through universal joints and a sliding section, allows for the angle and length changes as the axle moves on its suspension.

The propeller shaft runs between the gearbox and drive axle of a truck or bus. The correct shaft matches the wheelbase, joints, and flange used.
