A protector (guard) is a cover or shield that defends a component or area from impact, heat, or debris.

Placed over or in front of the part, it takes stone hits, rubbing, or heat instead of the component it shields, extending the part's life.

Protectors are used over hoses, wiring, tanks, and under the body. The correct protector matches the part and area it must cover.
